Winter Break ❄️

January 11, 2018

Happy New year! 🎉 Hope it has been amazing one for everybody! The holidays are always a good time to be able to relax from a stressful year and have a nice time with friends and family. It sure has treated me well this year! Got to go all around and see my favorite people.

After the pageant💁🏼, Alex, Sierra and I made our way back to Denver where Alex and Sierra went to CCU (Colorado Christian University).📚 Whilst they were in school, I just got to train with Alex and hang out with everybody. It was perfect! I mean think about it… the social aspect of college, without the schoolwork! It was lit. We

met an awesome new bro there as well (Will Whittington)! As time sped by, we all went to Copper my last weekend there, and had a stellar time! Alex and Will taught me how to snowboard for the first time, and we all just had an amazing couple days overall.

From there, I hopped on over to the Los Angeles area on the 12th.✈️ I took it chill for the most part while there, just seeing my parents and a friend. We sort of went all over the area, but definitely got a solid amount of beach time in.👌🏻 It was unique going there from such a cold environment like copper, to LA! One day I was snowboarding, and the next I was tanning at the beach. I then followed the short trip up, with AZ for Christmas! Another place with superior weather for the winter 😋.  I have to say, it is always nice to be able to spend the holidays with family!

Shortly after, I hit it back up to Copper for New Years. Will and I drove up together on the 28th and enjoyed the trip with a stop at gorgeous Monument Valley. 🏜 The next 5-6 days were spent straight shredding! We hit the slopes on the daily, and kicked it having a great time in the hot tub every night. I want to say there were about twenty sum of us staying at the house at a point. New Years was lit! On the 3rd, Alex, Will and I all went back to Scottsdale to spend the remainder of winter break in Scottsdale. 💯  We took it chill, as we were exhausted from Copper, but had a fun time nevertheless! All in all, it was the perfect ending of a spectacular winter break. Met some amazing new friends and enjoyed every second of it.

I am now looking forward to another two tri-mesters here in Savannah! I forgot how awesome this place is. Got a lot of catching up to do with everyone and places to visit! As far classes go, I am taking textiles, fashion sketching and digital imaging. I am also taking them all on M/W so I have 5 of the days of the week to get all my work done and do whatever. I tried the same schedule last fall and really enjoyed it! Unfortunately, this has not been the best week due to getting pretty sick, having storage unit issues and airline delays as well as them losing my luggage, 🙈 but I'm hoping next week will be the complete opposite and go super well! 🙌🏻  ✌🏻
